ROI Calculator

Three Numbers You Already Know. One Answer.

Tell us your annual attendance, what you'd charge for a ride, and how many days you'd run it. We'll fill in the rest with typical operating assumptions — and show you whether the math holds up.

1 — What kind of venue?

2 — Which train?

3 — Your three numbers

Everyone who comes through the gate in a year. Last season's ticket count is close enough.
Roughly:
Per rider. Most venues charge $3 to $8 as an add-on.
$
Per year. Count only the days the train would actually run.

We assume two people running the train at $15 an hour, a 6.3-gallon tank good for about 8 hours, diesel at $4.94, and $2 a day in maintenance. That works out to labor, fuel, and maintenance.
